Small change. Big impact.
Where others see limits, we discover new possibilities.
Machining time comparison
Optimized tool geometry. More economical manufacturing. New capacity.

Hours of machining – limited competitiveness
A customer approached us because machining a workpiece took several hours. The process worked technically, but long machine occupancy made competitive quotations difficult. A technically functioning operation is not necessarily an economically optimized one.
Reconsidering tool geometry
We reviewed the existing operation together with the customer and identified an opportunity in the tool geometry. Switching to a more suitable geometry reduced machining time by 50%.
More competitive quotations and released machine time
Shorter machining time reduced the time-dependent manufacturing effort. The customer could improve costing and offer more attractive prices. It also released time on the existing machine for further orders, without requiring an additional machine for this capacity gain.
Time savings are not total cost savings
The confirmed improvement concerns machining time. It does not imply a 50% reduction in total manufacturing costs: material, setup, tooling and other cost elements must be considered separately. The exact number of hours released per month is not stated here.
Our approach: identify the potential in a process
We start where others stop, because significant potential often lies where conventional solutions reach their limits. We do more than supply tools: we develop solutions that make manufacturing processes more economical.
Working together towards measurable improvements
The biggest impact does not always require the biggest change. What matters is identifying the right opportunity. Our aim is to implement targeted improvements together with customers and assess their effect on the actual process.
